A short film with many layers and with Ulla Billquist as a source of inspiration. It takes place in Sörmland, just outside Trosa, on the actual ground where Ulla Billquist once had a cabin that burned down. The film begins in a wonderful spirit with five young people who wants to make their own documentary. A documentary about the story that is rooted in the place where the character Ylva happens to have a country house. But two girls in the group carry a common secret that will soon come to the surface during their stay at the country place. They seem determined about what they are going to do, but Lea does not know if she is on the same wavelength as Ylva. The stay becomes everything it should be, but also more to it. A film about both relationships and underlying intrigue, but above all about the woman – and the woman’s story that wants to repeat itself. Whether it is the year 1946 or the year 2023.
